Hillsboro Hops

Matt's work had a family event at the Hops game a couple Sundays ago. Other than it being extremely hot (102 degrees) we had fun!

Eating watermelon I think.

Watching the game.

Hudson, Wyatt and Tanner… cute boys!

Hudson was way too interested in Barley… but I guess a big green hop is something to stare at. :)

Just because…

I like him a lot and he's cute! :)

Clark County Fair

A couple weeks ago, Hudson and I had a great time checking out the Clark County Fair. I'm not usually a fair kind of person, but I knew Hudson would enjoy seeing all the animals and I actually had fun too. We did and saw the usual… ate carnival food, saw and petted a whole bunch of animals, watched a car smashing show and people watched (well I did). Maybe next year, we'll try some rides.

Petting the big cow.

Petting the bunny with one finger. :)

This guy cracked us all up.

Ready for the obstacle course… Sophia helped him through.

Hudson was not afraid to pet the animals… he thought it was funny a few of the times.

Watching the cars race by.

Ended the day with snow cones… yummy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy 29th Birthday to my favorite Matt... Both Hudson and I love you and are so blessed with all that  you do for our family! We hope all your dreams come true this year!

Our dinner on Tuesday at Benihana's… yum, we all love that place.

And a little birthday wish from Hudson…

5 Years!

Friday, August 1st, Matt and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. I can't even believe it's been that long, we've actually been together for over 10 years! Last minute, we headed up to Seattle for the weekend… just us two. It's the longest I've been away from the little man, but it was much needed for both of us. Thank you to Matt's parents who lovingly watched Hudson for us.

Matt knows how to win this lady over… through FOOD! Every restaurant we went to was a winner and so so good! I'm thankful and so is my belly, that he enjoys researching and finding new spots for us to try out.

Our Anniversary dinner we ate at, How to cook a wolf… a delicious Italian restaurant in Queen Anne.

Saturday morning, we walked around Pikes Place… I always enjoy people watching and this place is a great spot for that. Also beautiful flowers and produce everywhere you look! We enjoyed croissants at a little bakery.

Sea Fair was going on while we were there and two huge Navy ships were docked…

After strolling around Pikes place, we headed to University Village for some shopping. We saw and heard the Blue Angels over head… that was a treat!

For lunch on Saturday, we ate at Serious pie… a delicious little pizza place. This girl loves herself a New York style, Margherita pizza!

More food… hey, we like good food! ;) Dinner Saturday night, we dined at Oaxaca… a great mexican spot.

Our late night dessert consisted of something we both LOVE… Ice-cream! Everyone raved about Molly Moon's, so we had to try it for ourselves. Definitely worth it, it had a Salt and Straw sort of feel.

Sunday morning, we had bagels (my choice) and lunch at a hole in the wall sandwich shop on our way out of town. Both hit the spot!

We were sent this picture while in Seattle… I was definitely excited to see him but so thankful Matt and I could get away for a couple days. It's amazing how many things we saw or heard that reminded us of him. :)

Love this guy so much! Thankful we get to spend our lives together… making cute babies. ;)

Another day at the Pool!

My old co-worker from Nike invited us over to her parents pool in Lake Oswego. Her nephew Johnny was there, he's six months older then Hudson. My friend Mindy and her little girl, Jaclyn were there too. I had a great time catching up with MaryBeth and seeing the boys play/swim so well together.

Hudson and his new friend, Johnny

My little boy and I… love him!

Pool Day with the Cul-De-Sac Kids!

We swam four times, at three different pools last week… crazy, but that's what summer is all about! This was last Wednesday, another day at the Staggs' pool. We had a great time swimming with all the "second generation kiddos" from the cul-de-sac I grew up in. Hands down, it was the BEST cul-de-sac ever!

My super star Niece!

Not a pool day without one hundred jumps from Hudson… Ha! The three of them tried many times to jump together but timing was never, quite on. :)

Lily, Weston, Hudson, Bennett, Lincoln and Sophia (Mason is missing from the pic.)

After the pool, we went back to (Grandma) Susie's for the evening (Matt was out of town Mon-Thurs)… Hudson ended up naked. I believe he's calling for "Ninknin"(Lincoln).

Hi friend!

Swimming + The Pearls

Last Tuesday, Hudson and I had a spontaneous pool date after the Children's Museum. Per usual, we both had fun with my mom, sister and her kids.  Peggy's Grandkids, Lily and Mason joined us in the pool too.

Both boys squeezed into the boat… it didn't last very long. ;)

Enjoying yummy popsicles… always a pool day must!

That evening, Hudson and I met my sisters family at a Brewery in Downtown Vancouver. Wayne, my sisters, brother-in-law is in a band, The Pearls… they have a few gigs lined up for the summer. Great music and a lot of fun was had.

Cousin hugs!

Hudson enjoying the music.. he did a lot of dancing too!

Getting energy out by running up and down the sidewalk

The little boys are always chasing and trying to be like Sophia… they love her!
