Charleston SC- Part 1

Matt and I headed to Charleston South Carolina last week to visit our great friends. We had the best time exploring the amazing place they now call home. So much history in such a charming city! We both missed our little man but knew he was having a great time with his Bapa's and Ramma's.

Austin picked us up at the airport and we headed to check out Free Fly Apparel's headquarters (we're so proud of the hard work they've made with their business).  And being minutes from the beach, it only made sense to head there next. :)

 Later that evening they took us to a pier to watch the sunset...

Wednesday, Matt and I had the morning to ourselves.. we drove to downtown Charleston which was adorable. Matt had a straight razor shave (it's a southern thing) while I did some shopping and face timed with Hudson.

Let's just say… shopping for a girl is going to be dangerous! I found the cutest romper for little Miss. 

Lunch at Husk was a must… Matt loves this place and I'm a fan now too!

Back to the beach later that day with Austin, Jenna and Arnold.

We are so excited to add a little lady to our family!

After what was going to be a quick stop to Golf Smith…ended with us purchasing Hudson his first golf set (driver, 7 iron, putter and bag). He spent over 20 minutes hitting balls, one of the cutest things I've ever seen. And I think we have a lefty on our hands!

Later that day we hit the driving range with the newest little golfer of the family. :)

Summer Lake Park

Hudson and I had a play date with our friends on Thursday. They live really close to Summer Lake Park in Tigard. The little boys had fun running, sliding, climbing and throwing acorns while us moms enjoyed time chatting about our little boys and soon to be number two's (we're all pregnant). ;)

We met a couple friends down by Lacamas lake to feed the ducks. First the kids played on the playground… which continues to be one of Hudson's favorite places.

After making a chicken pot pie, Hudson eagerly explored the leftover dough. He used a big, wood roller and a plastic knife to roll and cut the dough. I think we have a little chef in the making. ;)
