First Swim of the Summer!

We met my mom, sister and her kids at the Staggs for a fun afternoon of swimming! Hudson was hesitant to jump in on his own or swim around by himself. By the end of the afternoon, he was swimming with his puddle jumpers life vest on by himself. And to jump in, he needed to hold someones hands, I think by our next swim date, he'll be back at jumping in by himself again.

Ready for the pool!

Bravely swimming around

Shades out!

AHHH… I had too!

After hours of swimming, we made our way across the street to my parents house. The boys had fun playing in the rock box and running around!

And somehow my child always ends up naked… haha!

Harper Meets Grandma Nomi

I met my mom at Grandma Nomi's house. It was so sweet to see her with Harper and Hudson. She adores them and is always so grateful to see us.

Three months old!

Harper is three months old today!

Stats to come next month

Nicknames: Sister, Harps, Harpski

Eat: Still breast feeds every 2 to 3 hours during the day, usually 2.5 hrs. Goes 9-10 hrs between feedings at night. Has taken a few bottles since the first one and seems to do better with each one. Let's hope that continues. Usually burps in the middle and at the end of a feeding.

Sleep: Still naps a lot throughout the day. Usually 30-45 minutes with a couple longer stretches too. Bedtime- She lays down at 8:30 or 9pm, after her last feeding. She's up between 5:45 and 7am. If it's at 5:45 she'll usually lay back down and sleep for another hour or two before being up for the day.

Activity: She's awake for an 1hr to 1.5hrs after she eats before she's ready for another nap, sometimes just a short cat nap. Loves her playmate and just last week started batting at her toys. Smiles at the cow mirror. Likes the Mamaroo and will occasionally fall asleep while in it. Sat in her Bumbo yesterday and enjoyed it. Tummy time is not her favorite but will handle it for up to 10 minutes sometimes.

Social: First smile was around 5 weeks but now she gives them more and more. She giggled a couple weeks ago for the first time but only a couple times since then. Very alert and notices her brother, often watches and smiles at him.

Temperament: Still very sweet and happy. Her fussiness is usually because she's tired, hungry or needs a diaper change. And sometimes when big brother smothers her with lingering kisses. ;)

Harper, you were dedicated at Church on Sunday (May 17th) by Pastor Randy Remington at Beaverton Foursquare Church. I am blessed to be your Mommy and thank the Lord everyday for you and your brother. I will always lift you up in prayer. Remember, you are so loved by your family and friends.  -Mommy

Harper's Dedication

We had Harper dedicated at our church, Beaverton Foursquare. Pastor Randy Remington prayed over her while the whole congregation also lifted her up in prayer. It was a special moment that we will cherish forever.

Our sweet girl was so tired but she was a trooper all day.

After Church, we met both families at Papa's Pizza for lunch and play time for the kids.

Dozer Day- 2015

We met Lincoln and my brother in law, Matt at the Clark County Fairgrounds for Dozer Day. Despite the long lines and only riding two Diggers, Hudson and Lincoln had a blast. There was a lot more than just digger riding to do this year which was great.

DIG, DIG, DIG!

DUMP!

They look so little standing in the digger scoop.

Driving the garbage truck.

I brought along little diggers and dump trucks for Hudson and Lincoln to play with. Let's just say they were very popular with the other kids. :)

They could have played in the sand the whole day. :)

She hung out in the Ergo

Honking the horn of the semi-truck… so cool!

Running through big pipes.
