the robison family: Eight months old!

Harper is eight months old!

Stats: To come next month (9 month check up)

Nicknames: Sister, Harps, Harpski, Miss, Baby Sister, Sinster, Sis, Baby Harper

Eat: Breast feeds every 3ish hours during the day (5 times sometimes 6). Sleeps about 11 hrs straight through at night. Takes a bottle from anyone, even Mom. Loves the binkie for naps, bedtime and anytime she gets her hands on one. There is usually one attached to her. ;)
Solids: Eats everything she has been given. Still enjoys pureed food and even likes pouches of food. She eats bite sized soft foods.... avocado, banana, frozen peas (loves). She eats oatmeal mixed with breast milk for breakfast. Eats lunch (pureed veggie and/or fruit) around 11/11:30 and dinner (pureed veggie and/or fruit around 5/5:30. Likes puffs and mum mums for snacks. Also likes frozen bananas in a mesh pouch. Practicing signs- (more, all done)

Sleep: Naps- Usually 2 sometimes 3 a day (second or third is usually a cat nap with the others being two longer naps). If were home... she'll nap 9-11ish. She goes down again around 1:30/2 and it's usually 1.5hrs. Sleeps on her back and rarely rolls onto her belly for naps. Wears sleep sack, and still bunches it up by her face, also has binkie.
Bedtime- I nurse her at 7ish and lay her down with binkie. Easily goes to sleep on her own. She's waking up between 6-7am. Sleeps on her back in a sleep sack. She's usually a flexible sleeper and naps great in her crib, ergo, car and pac n play (fights naps) when tired.

Activity: Moves from sitting to all four legs and rocks back and forth (usually one leg is tucked under). Still chews and sucks on everything. Smiles and coos at her reflection. Still flaps her hands together. Still loves peek a boo and patty cake. Also loves bath time, especially with Hudson.

Social: She's usually a happy baby but still hates being left in a room alone. She will cry if you walk away from her. Very ticklish all over but especially under her neck. Still chatty and loud, especially if Hudson is around and being loud to her. Loves to blow raspberries. Still signs of stranger anxiety. Does not like being told No or have toys taken from her. Adores her brother and is always looking for him. In the car she reaches her head around her car seat to see him.

Teeth: 2 bottom front

Temperament: happy, determined and loud

Appearance: Still looks like Mommy. Big brown/green eyes, long eye lashes, dark hair slowly growing in. Big cheeks. Beautiful olive complexion.
