5 Years!

Friday, August 1st, Matt and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. I can't even believe it's been that long, we've actually been together for over 10 years! Last minute, we headed up to Seattle for the weekend… just us two. It's the longest I've been away from the little man, but it was much needed for both of us. Thank you to Matt's parents who lovingly watched Hudson for us.

Matt knows how to win this lady over… through FOOD! Every restaurant we went to was a winner and so so good! I'm thankful and so is my belly, that he enjoys researching and finding new spots for us to try out.

Our Anniversary dinner we ate at, How to cook a wolf… a delicious Italian restaurant in Queen Anne.

Saturday morning, we walked around Pikes Place… I always enjoy people watching and this place is a great spot for that. Also beautiful flowers and produce everywhere you look! We enjoyed croissants at a little bakery.

Sea Fair was going on while we were there and two huge Navy ships were docked…

After strolling around Pikes place, we headed to University Village for some shopping. We saw and heard the Blue Angels over head… that was a treat!

For lunch on Saturday, we ate at Serious pie… a delicious little pizza place. This girl loves herself a New York style, Margherita pizza!

More food… hey, we like good food! ;) Dinner Saturday night, we dined at Oaxaca… a great mexican spot.

Our late night dessert consisted of something we both LOVE… Ice-cream! Everyone raved about Molly Moon's, so we had to try it for ourselves. Definitely worth it, it had a Salt and Straw sort of feel.

Sunday morning, we had bagels (my choice) and lunch at a hole in the wall sandwich shop on our way out of town. Both hit the spot!

We were sent this picture while in Seattle… I was definitely excited to see him but so thankful Matt and I could get away for a couple days. It's amazing how many things we saw or heard that reminded us of him. :)

Love this guy so much! Thankful we get to spend our lives together… making cute babies. ;)
