Sunriver 2015

Sunriver 2015 was one for the books... this is the fourth year we've gone to Central Oregon with my whole family, the tradition continues. Hudson called it "Sunrivers" while Lincoln called squirrels  "smuirrels", both words spread like wild fire and were heard through out the week by the family. #smuirrel. :) We had a blast swimming at the pool, hiking, riding the bike trails, and even hitting up Bend for shopping and the Brewfest. The boys golfed, we played a lot of games, mostly Telestrations... best game ever! We also spent a whole day at Elk Lake; rode on a pontoon, sunbathed, relaxed and enjoyed each others company. Already looking forward to next year!

Our trip started off just grand, insert sarcasim. Hudson had to poop and so what do you do when you're in the middle of nowhere, you drop trow on the side of the road. Sorry for the TMI picture but I had to document it. HA!

When we finally made it, it was around 10pm. Everyone was up still so we said our hi, yay its vacation, then hit the hay. The first morning we headed to the pool.

She did so well napping wherever we were.
Harper loved the water!
And her cousin... Sophia is amazing with Harper. And I love their little relationship. :)

Floating the lazy river

That little tongue ;)
Ready for the first bike ride

I had to document this guy on a bike... even if he is wearing flip flops. hehe

This mommy and baby came to the back yard almost every day... deer sightings never get old for our family!

These two had their moments but did great for most of the trip... they are best friends

Hiked around Lava Lands

Selfie with my sleepy girl

The little boys definitely practiced their golfing skills... Matt of course was out their helping. :)

Daddy and his girl

Ice cream at Goody's is a must. It'a always a long line but worth the wait.

One of my fav pictures from the trip... I think it should be an add

The train ride around the Sunriver village was a big hit with the little boys. They went on it many times and loved every ride. They also had fun on the bounce slide and obstacle courses. :)

A few of us drove bumper cars... priceless reaction!

We had such a fun time at SHARC, thankful for many days spent swimming, and playing!

One evening we went to the Sunriver lodge... they had lawn games out and glow in the dark putt putt.

The little boys were enthralled with Caden (a friend of my sisters son).

Roasting marshmallows

Our day at Elk Lake was so fun and everyone had a great time on the pontoon except for Sister hated the life jacket. Poor girl!

We eventually got smile out of her

Despite Elk lake being the only lake that is not a glacier run off, the water was still chilly

Can you say, dirty!
So Beautiful... our view at Elk Lake!
Papa and his littlest girl

Exhausted after a full day at the Lake
The one and only Matt, playing host of a question game one night. haha

Trying to be cool and doing tricks didn't work out so well for Matt. Opps... he hurt himself many times during the week.

This girl... all heart eyes
Golfing selfie

Brew fest was fun, we ate yummy food and tried some new and old beers. The kids had fun throwing a frisbee around. The weather was great so that was a plus.

The whole fam

These two silly boys had a grand ol' time jumping off the back deck.
Sophia was whipping her hair up and down and Harper was belly laughing... cutest thing ever!
Loving their candy kabobs from Grandma Kim

Our hike around Benham falls was beautiful. Most of the crew rode bikes while a couple people drove Harper. :)

Thumbs up! ;)

The little boys on scooters is one of the cutest things... they go so fast!

Girls in their matching hello sweatshirts
Grandma and Papa with their grandkids :)
I'm so thankful for these people, love my family!

This picture was taken on our way out of Central Oregon... the wild fires were spreading all over the area. It's sad how much devastation they did.
