Strawberry picking

Wednesday, we met my sister and few of her friends for strawberry picking at Grove Acres in Helvetia. The Farm was about a 1/2 mile off the main road and was quite bumpy being that it was gravel and dirt. Hudson loved it and thought it was so much fun bumping around in his carseat. We spent about an hour and half in the fields; the weather was perfect and everyone had a great time! With the berries we I picked, I made two jars of freezer jam and we've enjoyed snacking on the rest.

Hudson was a busy boy in the fields… not much picking but a whole lot of eating strawberries, running through the fields, dumping berries and throwing dirt and straw.

These two were a bit of a handful but a lot of fun was had! :)

Going in for the kiss.

Cheese!

Running through the rows of berries… he needed many reminders not to walk on the plants.

Mister Huddy spent time enjoying the freshly picked berries from my bucket. ;)

Sisters and our boys!

After berry picking we had lunch at Helvetia Tavern... YUM!

A little lemon with lunch… and he wanted more.
